1. Overview

Word Jubbler is a word game that will appeal to crossword enthusiasts and anybody who enjoys the challenge of word puzzles.

The object of the game is to make words from random sets of letters chosen by the computer. You don't have to use all the letters, but you get higher scores for longer words. Once you have made 3 to 5 words (depending on your chosen skill level) you advance to the next level and get more letters to use.

As each level increases in difficulty your score increases but you are always racing against the clock!

2. Additional Features

1. Highest Scores
   
   Word Jubbler keeps a list of your highest scores. You can submit these to our website to compete against other Word Jubbler users worldwide:

2. Get help using the Hint and Pass buttons if you get stuck.
    
3. Score bonus points if you finish a level with time to spare or do not use all of your Hints and Passes.
    
4. British and US English spelling is accepted.
    
5. The 'Genius' level of Word Jubbler uses more than 25,000 words - enough to keep you entertained literally for years!

3. Minimum System Requirements

Palm OS V3.0 or later

4. Installation

Word Jubbler for Palm is distributed as a compressed ZIP file WordJubbler.zip

Install Word Jubbler as follows:

1. Use Winzip or compatible program to extract the contents of WordJubbler.zip to your desktop PC.
    
2. Use the Palm Desktop Install tool to load the following files:
   
   WordJubbler.prc
   WordJubblerDB.pdb
   
   onto your Palm via the HotSync connection to your PC.
    
3. Start Word Jubbler by tapping the Jubbler icon
   
   Note: If you get an error message Cannot open dictionary, check that you included the file WordJubblerDB.pdb in step 2 above.

6. Ordering Information

6.1 Free Trial Version

The Trial version of Word Jubbler is available free of charge so you can check how useful it will be to you. It has all of the features of the Full version except that only the Beginner skill level can be used. You are free to distribute the Trial version. It may be given away to anyone, included on CD-ROM libraries, uploaded to software libraries on the Internet, ftp sites etc. as long as it is distributed in its complete original form. 

Note: DO NOT distribute Full versions of Word Jubbler without the expressed written consent of the author.
 

6.2 Ordering Word Jubbler

The Full version of Word Jubbler includes the two additional skill levels 'Expert' and 'Genius'. You can order this online, to be downloaded instantly, using your credit card.

Select Word Jubbler and then select Order from the menu. Follow the instructions to place your order.

Note: DO NOT distribute Full versions of Word Jubbler without the expressed written consent of the author.

Note: Word Jubbler is available by download only. It is not distributed on floppy disks, CD or other media.
 

6.3 Refund Policy

Trial versions of CFB Software's products are available to be downloaded. Use these 'try-before-you-buy' versions to ensure that they are compatible with your computer systems and satisfy all of your requirements before ordering the Full version.  All sales of Full versions are final. Once a download link to the Full version has been issued it cannot be cancelled. We are only able to provide refunds for accidental duplicate orders.

The Word Jubbler package consists of a single WinZip-compatible compressed file WordJubbler.zip 

After running WinZip the following files are created in the directory that you specified:

You should carefully read the following terms and conditions before using this software. Your use of this software indicates your acceptance of this licence agreement and disclaimer.

Trial Version

There are no restrictions to the number of computers that the Trial version of Word Jubbler may be installed on, or the number of people that can use it at any one time.

Full Version

The Full version of Word Jubbler may be installed on one or more computers but may only be used by the single person in whose name it was ordered.

Word Jubbler is used entirely at the risk of the user. Although great care has been taken to eliminate defects during the development of Word Jubbler, it is not claimed to be fault-free. No claims are made regarding its correctness, reliability or fitness for any particular purpose. The Author shall not be liable for errors contained herein or for incidental or consequential damages, loss of data or personal injury in connection with furnishing, performance, or use of this material.
